What Sidelist is

Sidelist lists the side events of crypto conference weeks and lets you register for them faster. The optional Chrome extension fills Luma registration forms with details you saved yourself.

We do not store your personal information

Everything you type into "My info" (name, email, phone, Telegram, X, LinkedIn, company, job title, website, city, ecosystem role, cheque size, autofill preferences) and the list of events you mark as registered is saved on your device only: in your browser's local storage and in the Chrome extension's storage. It is never sent to Sidelist, never uploaded to any server we run, and we have no way to read it.

Chrome may sync the extension's storage between your own devices through your own Google account. That happens inside Chrome, between you and Google, and never passes through us.

The only thing on our side: an email, if you create an account

An account is required to save your info and register, and it is only an identity. Firebase Authentication keeps what is needed to sign you in: your email address and a password hash, or, if you continue with Google, the email, display name and profile picture Google shares. That is all. There is no database of profiles, no record of your answers, no list of what you registered for. We never see your password.

What happens with your details

Only one thing, and only on your device: the extension types your saved answers into Luma registration forms on pages you open yourself. Nothing is submitted automatically. No event host, sponsor or third party receives anything from us. We run no analytics on your details and we cannot sell or share what we do not have.

The extension, specifically

  • Runs only on luma.com and lu.ma pages, plus the Sidelist website so the two can exchange your profile.
  • Uses one permission, storage, to keep your profile in Chrome's extension storage.
  • Makes no network requests. It reads the registration form on the page and writes your saved answers into it.
  • Collects no browsing history and no data from any other site.

Analytics

We count page views and a few anonymous actions (a conference opened, a Register button pressed, whether the extension is installed) with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores no IP address, and cannot identify you; it tells us how many people use Sidelist and which parts, nothing about who.

Where it lives

The website is hosted on Vercel and serves static pages plus the public event listings. Accounts use Google Firebase Authentication. There is no database of users' details. Event listings come from public Google Sheets curated by third parties, and contain no personal data of yours.

Your control

Your details are under your control at all times. Press Clear in My info to erase them from the site and the extension, or clear your browser's site data. Uninstalling the extension deletes its storage. To delete your account (your email), open the account menu and press Delete account; it is removed immediately. You can also write to the address below.
